Hunt For The BIGGEST LAKE TROUT Of My Life!! (PART 1)
It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember to catch and release a giant lake trout for the ice. Bakers Narrows Lodge, located on the shores of Athapap is home to some of the best drive to Lake Trout fishing in the world and is a place I have wanted to fish for years.
In part 1 of our trout fishing adventure, it was all numbers. The first day alone we caught 23 fish (didnt include most of the small ones in the vid) which made for a pretty darn good first day if you ask me! the second day was a little different. We caught less, but our average size was bigger with the biggest being 38.5 inches long and our first Manitoba Master Angler Lake Trout of the trip!
