Lavender spent one year volunteering at Elimu, discovering her passion for media and journalism. Elimu later sponsored her to join college where she is pursuing her career dream in Media Studies.
At Elimu Resource Centre, youth interns gain hands-on work experience critical for them to pursue their dream careers or venture into entrepreneurship.
While volunteering, Lavender gained invaluable experience in leadership, report writing, customer service, and in the process discovered her love for photography.
