"Bloodbath" (Extreme Demon) by Riot and more — Geometry Dash
Well, it's over.
It's been a long time since I last uploaded on this channel. Funny how the last video I posted was a Bloodbath progress video, too. I know this isn't that impressive anymore, but I'm incredibly happy to finally have this level off my plate. I'll be reviving this channel with more GD videos soon, so if you still happen to play the game, stay tuned. I'd imagine a lot of my subscribers have moved on from the game by now, just as I did three years ago, but who knows? I'm uploading it regardless.
I said most of my thoughts on my achievement in the video, so I'll use the description to talk about the level itself.
Bloodbath is one of the most famous levels in the game, and for good reason. For many months this level stood far above the rest difficulty-wise, and took a long time to be toppled. I was around then, and I remember those times fondly. And to be honest, I'm really surprised at its quality. Bloodbath has held up to be a really well-made demon, both in gameplay and in decoration. I wouldn't have pulled through with this kind of dedication if the level hadn't been so good.
I think Bloodbath is pretty consistent in difficulty aside from a few parts. Michigun, of course, was the hardest part for me, and Giron proved to be inconsistent as well. I also could never get consistent at ASonic's UFO for some reason, even though it's probably the easiest part of the level for new players to do once.
In my opinion, the parts hardest to easiest are: Michigun, Giron, Weo, ASonic, Vermillion, Crack, Gboy, Etzer, Evasium, Havok.
I'm glad the level was well-made, because otherwise, I definitely wouldn't have stayed with it until the end.
I'm absolutely not attempting anything this hard for a long time. I'm still in shock from this and I don't want to put myself through that much grinding ever again. But Geometry Dash has a ton of levels to offer, so there isn't going to be a shortage of things to upload here any time soon.
