inGuide-Interactive Guide
O projeto inGuide-Interactive Guide foi desenvolvido no Departamento de Engenharia Informática, no âmbito da unidade curricular de Projeto informático do Curso de Engenharia Informática da Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria.
O inGuide é um guia turístico para smartphones com o sistema operativo Android, que permite a um turista que esteja a visitar determinada cidade possa facilmente visitar os diversos pontos de interesse (locais históricos, restaurantes, bares, lojas ou hotéis).
Recorre a tecnologias como a realidade aumentada e a geolocalização para disponibilizar ao utilizador informação contextualizada de uma forma simples e interativa.
Outro aspeto importante é facto de funcionar em modo offline e por fim como é uma aplicação modular, permite ao utilizador efetuar uma gestão dos pacotes de cidades que pretender instalar, atualizar ou remover.

The inGuide-Interactive Guide is a project developed at the Computer Sciences Department, within the Computer Engineering course, in the School of Computer Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria.
The inGuide is a tourist guide application for Android smartphones, that allows a tourist to visit the many points of interest of a city (historic sites, restaurants, bars, shops, hotels and other points of interest).
Uses technologies such as augmented reality and geolocation to provide contextual information in a simple and interactive way.
Another important feature is the fact that this application works in an offline mode and finally, since the application is modular, it allows the user to perform a package management of the cities that he/she wants to install, update or remove.
