How to sample with different techniques explained. In this video I'm showing different approaches to sampling in Ableton Live 11 and sharing some secrets as to how to chop samples up. Learning how to chop samples doesn't need to be a challenge. You just need to listen, analyze and train your ears. I recorded this video to show you that it can actually be quite simple to come up with a dope unique and soulful chops if you follow my simple tutorial in Ableton Live 11.
In this tutorial I go over how you can successfully chop samples and formulate them into unique patterns for your beats. I also touch on common techniques used by the greats to make your chops more interesting. Studying songs is a great way to achieve the classic sampling sound.
Although this beat was created in Ableton Live 11 you can use the same methods and ideas in any DAW. Including Maschine, Akai MPC, Logic, Pro Tools, FL Studio and literally any other program you can think of. Hip Hop is Hip Hop no matter how it is created!
