Nephron is the functional unit of Kidney
It consists of two parts i.e. renal corpuscle and Renal tubule
Renal corpuscle consist of two parts i.e. Glomerulus and Bowman’s capsule
Renal tubule consists of three parts i.e. Proximal convulated tubule, loop of henle and distal convulated tubule
Renal artery enters the kidney become divided and forms Afferent arteriole which further divides into capillaries and enters nephrons in glomerulus
The artery that exit glomerulus is called efferent arteriole
Efferent artery further coiled around proximal and distal tubes known as peritubular arteries.
Arteries around loop of henle is called vasa recta
Vasa recta further joins to form venules and than renal vein which exits the kidney
Loop of henle is present in the medulla region of kidney while rest is present in cortex region
