I've been considering making a video on this topic for a long while. I have even shot a couple of versions in the past. It's just hard to really convey the issue without sounding like a rich 1%er (even though I'm not quite in that bracket) shitting on less fortunate people.
But ultimately this issue hits everyone. Median income people because they are heavily incentivized to keep spending their money.
Poor(er) people because they get plain bad products for their money.
I'll be upfront about this: I don't have a solution to this issue within the capitalist world we live in. It's a complicated multi-faceted issue to start with. But I do want to do better. Consider this the start of a new series.
