Chronic Viral Infections in Cats
A diagnosis of viral leukemia or viral immunodeficiency virus (VIF) may sound frightening. But it's important to know: chronic viral infections in cats are not a death sentence! With proper care, pets can live a long life, maintaining a good quality of life.
In this video, veterinarian Vera Aleksandrova, chief physician at the K9-vet clinic, will explain chronic viral infections in cats, how they are diagnosed, their differences, and how to live with them. You'll learn how these diseases progress, what symptoms to monitor, and which tests are worthwhile and which are not.
