An Unusual Haunting | Unexplained Cases
In the heart of historic Ellicott City, Maryland, there’s a shop that’s anything but ordinary. Unusual Company is known far and wide for its authentic Italian gelato—including non-dairy options—plus walls packed with movie memorabilia, comics, collectibles, and original art. Housed in a former 1905 bank building, it’s a must-see destination for pop culture lovers… and perhaps, for ghosts as well.
After hearing whispers of unexplained occurrences, Rick Garner of Unexplained Cases reached out to investigate this unique space. The owner revealed a chilling tale: a spirit known as the Lady in Blue—a former employee of the Washington Trust Company—who is said to haunt the upper floor where she tragically passed away.
What followed during our paranormal investigation was beyond expectation. Joined by Michael Chinn, Rick captured strange noises, equipment malfunctions, and compelling moments of unexplained activity throughout the night. Could this be the elusive Lady in Blue making herself known? Or is something else hidden within the walls of this former bank?
