Scorpion MK9 Fatality - Split Decision (MK3 Style)
This is Scorpion's 1st Mortal Kombat (2011) fatality - Split Decision.
Now that I've got more experience in editing sprites, I figured I'd revamp and do more Mortal Kombat 9 fatalities!
I figured I'd blend the MK9 World into the MK3 World. There are some MK9 sounds and MK3 sounds mixed in.
Back when I first started these fatalities, there weren't many MK9 Fatalities released, I figured I'd do the rest!
The background was very easy to make. The Living Forest looks very similar to the original in the new Mortal Kombat game, so there wasn't many modifications. So I made sure you can see the trapped monk, and I also added a raven, which you can see roaming the forest in the new game.
The backgrounds and sprites were made in Photoshop and the special effects and final look was created using After Effects.
