Joe Semple - Tromso
Joe Semple is a pianist and composer based in the UK.
Taking influence from late 19th/early 20th century impressionist composers, as well as contemporary artists, Joe's music is both emotive and compositionally complex.
His first album, 'Miklagard', is a collection of solo piano pieces released in late 2021, described as follows by the Richer sounds music magazine: "Miklagard is a collection of beautifully composed pieces of art that will calm your mind and help you focus on whatever task you’re working on."
Joe has played pieces from this album live at one of the acclaimed Brudenell piano sessions. His music has been played several times on BBC radio, and he is currently developing his compositional style, writing and recording music both for solo piano and for multiple instruments, ready for release soon.
