The KAT® Carriage with Weld Indexer combination makes automating the weld overlay or cladding process simple. Using limit switches in both the carriage and the indexing arm the weld is deposited along the desired path until the carriage reaches the limit switch. Once engaged the indexing arm will move the programmed length to position itself for the next weld. Once in position the weld will automatically start again and the carriage will travel in the opposite direction.
