The peeler I bought the other day from a brand called Ritter was amazing.
Peelers are really well made, and even the ones I bought for 100 yen are still usable. I've been using one I bought about 10 years ago.
But this Ritter peeler is truly amazing. It's only about 1000 yen. It's cheap, after all. But it's amazing.
To put it in perspective, if you used to drive on gravel roads, with the Ritter it's like driving on a carefully paved race track. The peel just peels so easily. It's amazing.
I end up buying a lot of celery and other things for no reason. Give it a try.
