Sound Design
There should always be a main supersaw that takes the focus. Everything else should be there to support that layer. That's how I make future bass at least. When creating a future pop supersaw in serum I like to have one oscillator that is big and wide, and another that is more mono and sharper. We can then add some extra movement and characteristics by adding some LFO amplitude movement and also some detuning. This can really make your future pop supersaws feel more natural and organic.
Processing
The main purpose of processing is to make everything fit into its own place. If this is done correctly your future pop supersaw will sound a lot bigger because nothing is clashing. I find the best way to do this is by trying to emphasize each layer's position. The top layer should have more high frequencies than the layers below it. You can do this by adding effects like OTT and saturation to add those harmonics, and then use EQ to remove those unwanted frequencies.
Secret Tips
This is where your future pop supersaw will come to life. My favorite way to add movement and interest to my supersaw is by adding some auto filter modulation to sweep in and out of the supersaw. You can get really creative here. Experiment with doing some really abstract automation shaped and see what cool things you can come up with.
If you want to add more movement to your song you can even use an Auto pan as an LFO. This is a great way to add interest to transitions between different parts of your song.
