Building a simple house in the Philippines - Hard Work

Building a simple house in the Philippines is not an easy thing to do from a Foreigners point of view and we have certainly had more than a few headaches. But here we see the workers working hard to keep the project moving.
This house is a traditional style house you will find in many Philippines Provinces. They use Hollow blocks which are far different from the Bricks we have in the west. The idea I have heard for using Hollow blocks is that they allow the heat to escape thus cooling the house down. A lot of the Brick work done by the previous builder will need to be knocked down and re done.
It is true to say that Building in the Philippines certainly presents many challenges.
