Heyo, and welcome back everyone, or hello to anyone new to my covers here! Figured I'd try something a little different this time and add in a proper video that's more than just a picture or some form of midi player this time. The original plan was to have Exdeath and the party loop in the background while the textbox below only showed my Patrons, but I couldn't quite get what I wanted, so I just shot for a snippet of gameplay from the fight itself instead. With that aside, this one's about what you'd expect from a typical updated cover of mine, although I did add a few extra tweaks here and there. For example, how I did tunes earlier on in my covering history, I only used a couple of guitar VSTs, so at certain parts, there wasn't enough guitars to fill in for the rhythm sections of the song. Well, now I've got my typical 4 guitar spread (2 for leads, 2 for rhythm), so I was able to tack on some well-needed rhythm bits to give certain parts that extra "oomph". I also added some extra backing stuff for the custom section (With how I mixed it before, it didn't really need anything more than the guitars/bass/drums, but with more quality mixing this time around it DEFINITELY needed something to carry it). Only other thing to mention is that I changed up some stuff in the final repeat to make it feel less like a simple copy-paste job.
All in all, I like how this redo came together and I hope you feel the same! So, until the next tune, take it easy and expect more awesome jams next month!
