Psychedelic Dance - But in Joel Haver Style
This was a birthday present to my boo.
I also wanted to get deeper into EBSynth, especially now that Joel Haver popularized this style. So I shamelessly jumped on the bandwagon :D
But I genuinel find it one of the most exciting developments in animation technology right now.

I found it still to be a really tedious process. For the dance I had to paint like 10+ keyframes for the face I only used 3. You have to embrace the glitchiness of it at this point. Or have VERY clean footage and draw keyframes that are pixel accurate. A lot of movement should be avoided if you want to draw less keyframes.
And last but not least, if you haven't already, check out Joel Havers short films. I think it's my favorite director discovery of the past 2 years. And I mean, Hollywood movies included.
