I've always loved this speech! Not just because it's a nod to the second movie, but because it really shows how moral the group is. They didn't know any of the men but they knew no one asked for such a fate. Good on the riders for paying respect!

Events leading up to this scene:
"After finding a ship filled with dead vikings, the riders later find out Viggo Grimborne gave his own fishing boat crew the "Scourge of Odin", sacrificing the men in order to lure in any of the riders and spread the disease. He was relying on their desperation to find the Buffalord for the infected friend(s) so he could follow, capture the dragon, and sell it on the open market. Astrid, who found the boat and had been infected as well but was healed by the Buffalord's saliva antidote, speaks a little eulogy for the men Viggo killed and gives them a proper funeral."
