In this 35 minute clip, Tom will venture into the world of Apple's OpenDirectory services, which in itself is an implementation of LDAP. It's a fairly simple system to install and configure... definitely much simpler than it used to be. Here we will look at the initial installation, as well as the configuration of OpenDirectory. Then, we'll demo how to bind a client to the system. Tom loves to use VMware Fusion for Mac, which allows him to complete many of the tasks where the immediate need for a client or server are necessary.
