Absolutely Ridiculous! The Office is too NOISY!
In this video, we dive a bit into the world of IT. I recently was asked why my office is so loud, and how can I just sit there with all of that noise. The noise in question is coming from my file server, better still, it's coming from the power supply of the server. The server is quite old, and it really should be replaced, but it's one of the first servers I bought out of school, and it allowed me to grow in my IT career at the beginning.
Join me as we venture inside the server to see what's what. We'll have a look at the power supply, and I will take pictures of it so that I can quickly power the server back up and let it do it's thing, which I explain in this video as well.
I hope that in time, I can find some replacement parts to make this server quieter, although, I'm also looking at other solutions, if I'm completely honest.
