Launch Options to Boost FPS in Counter-Strike | Improve Performance, Increase FPS
In this optimization tutorial video, I'll show some launch options to increase FPS and improve performance in Counter-Strike. Many of these launch options work on various computers, and can be especially helpful for users who are playing in low-end spec PCs. Launch options, also called launch commands, are commonly used by players to achieve higher frame rates in games, especially competitive games, such as Counter-Strike.
To boost FPS and performance in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, follow these steps.
1. Open your Steam library
2. Right-click "Counter-Strike"
3. Click "Properties"
4. In "Launch Commands", write:
+cl_forcepreload 1 -nojoy -nod3d9ex
5. Close "Properties"
