Luke 5:17-20 17 One day, as Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting nearby. (These men had come from every village in Galilee and Judea, and also from Jerusalem.) And the Lord's healing power was powerfully at work in Jesus. 18 Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat. They tried to bring him inside to Jesus, 19 but they could not get near him because of the crowd. So they went up on the roof and removed some tiles. Then they lowered the paralytic on his mat into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Young man, your sins are forgiven.”
Beyond the knowledge we may have, there are things that followers of Jesus must believe and do.
