The Cornflower, commonly known as Bachelor’s Buttons or Koringblom has beautiful flowers that attracts beneficial insects and garden lovers alike.
Blooming all summer, it thrives in full sun but can tolerate some shade. While adaptable to various soil types, it prefers fertile and well-drained soil.
Though its flowers come in various colours (blue, pink, red, lilac and white) it’s vibrant blue flowers and grey-green leaves are popular in gardens and the cut-flower industry, and they are also used in tea blends and herbal teas.
