New Fortnite Graphics Mode = Free FPS Boost?!
We have a NEW Performance Mode in Fortnite: ULTRA Performance mode!
Intel and Epic Games have partnered in bringing Intel's newest UPSCALING technology to Fortnite!
Intel Xe Super Sampling (or Intel XeSS) is an UPSCALING SOLUTION FOR gaming, similar to NVIDIA’s DLSS, AMD’s FSR and Epic Games’ TSR.
It uses machine learning (AI) to upscale lower-resolution images to higher resolutions, like 4K, while aiming to maintain good performance.
We used an entire week comparing Ultra Performance preset with Fortnite’s Performance Mode to see which one gives:
1. The BEST FPS
2. The FASTEST Rendering Times
3. The BEST Image Quality
