A way out of bullying: When the chains of bullying fall
Michael Eymann lives in Switzerland. Even as a child, Michael's unusual behavior was noticeable to those around him. He preferred spending time with adults to playing with the other children. After several examinations, he was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. When Michael entered fifth grade, a very difficult time began for him. He felt increasingly excluded because he couldn't keep up with the other boys in his class. He became more and more accustomed to being ostracized and later spent most of his breaks alone in his professional life. For years, he was a victim of bullying until one day he was invited to a musical. "Life on Stage" tells true stories. Throughout the entire performance, Michael was drawn, as if by magic, to the wooden cross standing in front of the stage. After the sermon, there was an opportunity to go forward and commit himself fully to Jesus. Drawn as if by a magnet, Michael went to the cross and surrendered his life to Jesus. That Saturday evening had a profound effect. When he returned to work the following Monday, everything was different. To his surprise, Michael is completely accepted by his colleagues. In this interview, he tells how he was able to forgive his bully some time later, and how they even became his friends at their next class reunion.
