Arabic Alphabets Song for Teaching the Rules of Writing - أنشودة الحروف العربية لتعليم قواعد الكتابة
This video summarizes the rules of Arabic writing through a song. There are 28 letters in the Arabic alphabets and are divided into 3 groups:
The Mad Letters are 14 letters, all (except م) have a curved part that looks like a tummy and they lose their tummies at the beginning and middle of a word, but not at the end of the word. They get mad when they loose that part but once connected they are happy. Letter م loses that long stick too when connected.
The Naughty Letters are 6 letters that only connect from the right side and bite any letter that touches them from the left.
The Smiley Letters are the remaining 8 letters that do not lose any part nor they bite any letter. They connect on both sides in the word and are always smiley.
