Hello Folks and welcome to this little Flight Adventue video. Inspired by my good friend, Gina, I re-create the flight she went on recently with a well known low cost airline, when she went away for a short break to southern France. Today, flying for my own Private virtual airline VAP AIR, we took the PMDG Boeing 737-800 out of London Stansted and into the small airport of Carcassonne in southern France, after a flight of around two hours or so.
The low cost airline involved in Gina's flight is well known for their hard landings and Gina did mention to me that they hit the runway quite hard and under heavy braking too! So, I try to make a better landing here on what is quite a short runway of 6726 feet. Following the RNAV Chart, I actually made a visual approach in the end. Check me out and see how I do.
Aircraft is the Boeing 737-800 by Precision Manuals Development Group (PMDG) and the scenery is the payware version of CARCASSONNE Airport (LFMK) by SUPERSONIC, the current updated version dated May 2024, now available from Flightsim.To. Flown live, online with VATSIM, pretty much as it happened. I hope you enjoy it.
