Making Our Wedding Head Table Backdrop
Step 1. Buy 17 curtains second hand off FBMP
Step 2. Buy a pot big enough to dye curtains and napkins at the same time
Step 3. Buy dye for synthetic fabric and plan your colours. Yes we mixed them, no I’ve never dyed anything, yes I’m an artist who is an expert at colour
Step 4. Hang things to dry in the back yard once you’ve rinsed them
Step 5. Once all colours are finished, assemble on plastic piping and hang on wall ** put twinkling string lights behind for extra magic
Step 6. Add butterfly cut outs on the curtain, getting some caught in the folds for realness
That’s pretty much it. The napkin part is that we dyed a bunch at the same time so all colours would match and we could have a rainbow napkin situation.
