In filters, flaws might trace,
Unique beauty in every face.
Today, rarity is to find,
One who hugs, speaks unconfined.
Happiness lies in simple ways,
Not perfection, joy conveys.
False joy brings deeper pain,
Lies only breed their own disdain.
The end begins with lies we cast,
Ignored first truths, we're typecast.
He who forgets takes the lead,
In games of memory, we concede.
Doubt's realm is where fools dwell,
Hasty choices, tales to tell.
Beware love's wise disguise,
Hidden plans behind sweet eyes.
In laughter's glow, souls reveal,
People's heights, how low they kneel.
Game we play, you hide from view,
I won't seek, a twist anew.
Curing by avoiding sight,
Healing in this odd respite.
For me, travel isn't grand,
It's a balm to understand.
From some, sex appeal we see,
From others, rusticity.
Memories of "could have been,"
Haunt us in their shadow's din.
When trust dies, desires fall,
Buried beneath a judgment's wall.
Some have all, it's a facade,
Missing personality, oh so odd.
When we're happy, stares collide,
Lost in love, minds open wide.
Flirting bores me, truth be told,
Boredom's whispers, once bold.
Gave the best to the wrong one,
Left the rest, love undone.
Again emotion cheats my brain,
Logic a fickle, fleeting gain.
My bills, my errors, I do pay,
One's own faults won't go away.
Blessed is he who forgives once more,
Not the wrongdoer, but the heart that's sore.
Dogs teach love in simplest ways,
Human warmth in each gaze.
Beauty's light dims sans the brain,
Wisdom plus charm, love's perfect gain.
Silent strength of the wise stands tall,
Laughs at folly, wisdom's thrall.
It's not the foolish that we see,
But the fool who thinks he's free.
Guilty is not the one who errs,
But the forgiver who allures.
Dogs were made by God's grand plan,
To teach us love, as humans can.
Beauty void of wit, mere art,
In matters of the mind, a part.
Laughing with you, lifelong glee,
Meeting comfort's edge, let's be free.
In hush or jest, you're quite the same,
A gem in silence, you proclaim.
In the end, it's clear to find,
