I'd like to share some thoughts about Patreon. I envision a world where people's skills and passions are actively cultivated to make the world a better place. All around us are people whose talents and dreams are buried because they have to work menial jobs to "make ends meet". I've heard from those of you who want to start traditional skills schools, from those of you who wish you could be artists, from those of you who want to be blacksmiths or leatherworkers.

The end result is a world where you "make a living" by doing what you are passionate about. A world where hand-made goods replace factory-produced goods, a world where people have their choice of thousands of wilderness and traditional-skills schools, a world where people are creating amazing, beautiful things.
