6D22 engine Wash-down
This is the first in a series of videos showing some of the processes we go through to rebuild a quality engine for sale to our customers. This is the Wash-down stage where the engine has returned from our machine shop. The wash-down stage requires a high pressure clean to remove any remaining metal particles that could later damage the engine. The engine will now be blown dry with compressed air prior to being painted.
