We left mainland New Zealand and sailed to Great Barrier Island expecting to do some island hopping over the next few weeks during the mandatory 30-day lockdown. However, after being told we wouldn’t be able to move off anchor, we decided to just make the best of family time and enjoy plenty of fishing, homeschooling, and just relaxing on the boat.
