Hey guys, we're in the Piedmont Alps again today and wanted to see what the weather was like up there! It's a good time, between winter and spring, and our hope is to see and photograph a large herd of deer. At this time of year, when the snow has mostly disappeared, and in this particular place, they gather in large herds and graze at high altitudes. This forces us to carry our photo/video equipment up the mountain every day, without any trails, simply trying to take the shortest and most direct route.
The photographic "hunt" paid off: a herd of 50 deer, both male and female, approached us without sniffing our presence, or at least without being disturbed. We also photographed a beautiful sleeping fox and saw an eagle circling... in short, this episode of nature photography in Italy was a success!
