If you want to display FPS (frames per second) on your Android device without rooting it, this tutorial will help you do that easily. First, open your device’s Settings and scroll down to the “System” section. If you don’t see “Developer options,” go back and tap on “About phone,” then go into “Software Information.” Tap the “Build Number” seven to eight times and enter your PIN when prompted. This will activate Developer Mode. Now go back to “System,” where you'll find “Developer options.” Tap on it, and then use the search bar within Developer options to find “Show Refresh Rate.” Toggle this option on. Once enabled, your screen will begin displaying the current refresh rate (which corresponds to your FPS) in the top-left corner of the display. That’s it! You can now monitor FPS on your Android device without needing root access.
