EA Trax in Need for Speed, Burnout & SSX rocked 🤘 SO GOOD
When it comes to licensed music in video games, EA Trax is one of the best. The development teams within Electronic Arts have a wide range of music genres allowing them to choose tracks that fit their game's theme and atmosphere. I remember first seeing EA Trax as part of the SSX, Burnout and the Need for Speed series back on the PS2 and being blown away by the music included. I will always associate songs by Rush, Queens of the Stone & Sahara Hotnights to some of my favorite gaming experiences. When I hear the drum intro to One Little Victory from Need for speed Hot Pursuit 2, A smile appears on my face and I’m instantly transported back to 2002.
