Minecraft 1.18 Caves & Cliffs: "Comforting Memories" (Piano Tutorial & Sheet Music)
Lena Raine wasn't the only composer who gave us wonderful tracks in the latest Minecraft Update. Meet the composer of Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles: Kumi Tanioka.
And what a track this one is.
For those who are familiar with Minecraft's original composer, C418, you might have caught a bit of an interesting motif that's being used in Kumi's "Comforting Memories". That being the main ostinato of "Subwoofer Lullaby" from the Minecraft: Volume Alpha soundtack. Which makes perfect sense for a track called "Comforting Memories", connecting composers old and new within Minecraft. That's also why the image in the background being used comes from a Beta version of Minecraft (all the way back in 2011), and the note color scheme was grabbed from the Volume Alpha cover art.
Either way, I've really wanted to do more arrangements of this soundtrack. The music here really is amazing to listen to and perform. This coming week I'll be busy with finals though, so wish me luck!
