So your faith today is in the faithfulness of Christ who will not tarry but will come and will be faithful.
That is the ultimate of our goal of faith. Waiting for Him - for His appearance - to come for us.
If we are focused on that, believing that, our faith motivated by that, then our faith will not become despondent down depressed - wondering what's happening.
