Dušan Bogdanović - Datun Julud Variations (dedicated to Hong Tee)
Datun Julud Variations, composed by Maestro Dušan Bogdanović, is one of the six commissioned solo guitar works from the project of Tropical Impressions. Dušan was inspired by the Hornbill Dance, a traditional women dance of the Kenyah tribe in East Malaysia that is always accompanied by a traditional lute instrument called sape. The scores has been published in 2022, together with the premier concert held in Kuala Lumpur.
