Let me show you how to make a Spanner Card. Despite it's name, it's nothing to do with spanners or tools. The spanner refers to the piece of card stock (or acetate) added across the bottom (or middle) or the card.

Cutting instructions are below but you will also find them on my blog in a downloadable and printable format.

Base Card - 15.0 x 21.0 cm plus piece for spanning the sides measuring 3.0 x 15.0 cm.

Layers -

(i) Card Front Panels-
Basic White - 2 lots of 2.5 x 10.0 cm
Double-Sided Paper - 2 lots of 2.0 x 9.5 cm
(ii) Large Front Panel -
Basic White - 8.5 x 10.0 cm
Double-Sided Paper - 8.0 x 9.5 cm (different from the card front
panels)
(iii) Inside Panels -
Basic White - 2 lots of 2.5 x 10.0 cm
Double-Sided Paper - 2 lots of 2.0 x 9.5 cm (different from all the
other panels)
(iv) Inside Panel -
Basic White - 8.0 x 9.5 cm
