The Last Frontier is a new post-apocalyptic free-to-play MMORPG set in a snowy world after a global nuclear war.
In 2022, the conflict between the USSR and the USA resulted in an open confrontation, which caused the death of most life forms on the planet. The few survivors who managed to survive the fall of the atomic bombs faced a new threat - the deadly cold of nuclear winter.
Anticipating the threat, the governments of many states have created secret underground shelters that can save the world's elite from the horrors of nuclear war. For those who were not in the circle of the elite, but had enough funds, various corporations offered to buy a place in commercial shelters.
The events of the game The Last Frontier unfold in 2052, on the territory of the Far Eastern region of the USSR and the western part of the coldest US state - Alaska. Due to global cooling, the two continents were connected by a strong ice bridge. Players will be able to travel through the territory of the once great superpowers, find settlements formed after the catastrophe, explore abandoned military installations and shelters, and fight the creatures of the cold. An important role is given to the interaction of players: communication, trade, struggle for resources, association in communities, war of factions, as well as the capture and retention of various settlements.
