A Simple Tropical Mead Recipe | Discord Mead #7 |
Welcome back to the discord mead series! We are in episode 7 and we are making a really great tropical & fruit mead in this episode. This series is all about letting someone from my discord take the reins of the recipe development and tell me what to make. In this episode I had Robert take over and concoct a very approachable mead recipe for us to make. This one was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy the video. Pineapple, Mango & Strawberry Mead Recipe:
2.25 pounds Citrus blossom mix honey
Water to 1 gallon
Pectic enzyme
1 gram wine tannin
2 pounds mango
1 pound pineapple
2 grams Fermaid O Omega Sundew yeast
Ferment dry Rack
Add 2 pounds strawberries
Rack at 7ish days
Stabilize and clear
Backsweeten with brown sugar to 1.020 FG
