My Top 10 Books of 2019

1. The more I learn and read, the more I uncover my own ignorance. It’s like an archeological dig, but instead of laboring to uncover some hidden artifact, I uncover a nugget of ignorance. It’s at once exciting and disappointing. Exciting because I enjoy the dig almost more than anything else in this life. And I love to pinpoint my ignorance and push the boundaries of things that I think I know. But it is also a little disappointing to be confronted by things I will never know, like immense rock cliffs that beckon my exploration. They promise a fun adventure on the road to uncovering my ignorance and a little piece of my heart breaks to have to walk on by.
2. I was surprised by some books. I was not looking forward to Sandberg’s Lean In, but found it intriguing and it changed my perspective.
