John Lodge - Ride My SeeSaw Promo video
John Lodge, the bassist and vocalist of The Moody Blues, released his second solo album titled “10,000 Light Years Ago” in May 2015. This album came 38 years after his previous solo work, “Natural Avenue” (1977)
The “10,000 Light Years” band, which accompanies Lodge during live performances, includes some notable musicians:
Alan Hewitt: Keyboards and music director (also from The Moody Blues).
Norda Mullen: Flute (also from The Moody Blues).
Gordon Marshall: Drums (formerly of The Moody Blues).
Tim Maple: Guitar.
Gemma Johnson: Cello
The album itself features contributions from founding Moody Blues members Mike Pinder and Ray Thomas on the track “Simply Magic,” as well as guitarist Chris Spedding elsewhere on the album .
