The video illustrates an innovative approach for obtaining high-quality touch experiences in VR. The presented technology makes use of 3d printed artifacts, combined precise object and hand tracking coupled with capacitive sensing of the interactive object. Capacitive touch detection makes possible to precisely detect the very exact moment event when the user actually touch or leave the object, something that is of the utmost importance for making the interaction really truthful and engaging.
