Hj.Ernie Irawaty Djohan or better known as Ernie Djohan (born 6 April 1951) is an Indonesian singer & actress. She is the 4th daughter of 8 children in the family of diplomats H.M.Djohan Bakhaharudin & Siti Zanidar Djohan who have lived in The Hague, Netherlands and Singapore. By the age of 11 she was already singing for Radio Talentime 1962 in Singapore.
In the same year, Ernie Djohan won first place in All Singapore's School Talentime. The first recording in Singapore in 1962 was done at the Phillips Recording Company. The most memorable songs of all time in the era of the 1960-1980s are Teluk Bayur (BAYUR BAY), You Are Always In My Heart, Lost Pearls, Dusk In The City Limits and many other hit songs.
