Psychic is… okay? Elio at 1/5 is pretty serviceable as a PT setter and Sp. Def debuffer but the damage is pretty wack. Nuke is as fine as any unit with an innate sync multiplier and Tech EX. Sp. Atk stat is high but Psychic BP is too low. At 3/5, he gets Brainteaser and Smarty Pants. Okay, Giovanni, let’s calm down. Support EX role is pretty sweet though.
[3:20] Support + Master Passive Maxing
At 3/5, he gets Defense and Sp. Def buffs for himself so he can hold himself better. His HP and defenses reach tank levels because of his Support EX role and Psychic Gear. Morning Sun is also free heals. This is pretty similar to tanking with Adaman.
For this team, he buffs the team crit so Lusamine doesn’t need to gamble with +2 crit on a ramping team, debuffs Sp. Def fairly quickly, tanks the hits, feeds Alola Spirit, and adds Psychic Theme Skills. Only downside is the terrible gauge if you don’t clear too quickly. Might need to grid Lusamine with Precognition.
