White Suns are back with a new album of their unique hybrid of no wave, tortured doom, power electronics, and noise rock! Their best yet, this album is both harsh and finely detailed, chaotic and meticulously executed.
"White Suns continue to be one of my absolute favorite noise bands. By a long stretch. I can't think of any band that does the composed-but-somewhat-improv rock band format this well. The lyrics are amazing and the delivery of them couldn't be more perfect. They can do so much with so little gear. I mean they should be legendary. They should go down in history as one of the greatest 'noise rock' bands ever to exist. I know that sounds dramatic as hell but I really mean it. It's almost kind of a US Maple type approach to compositions. Everything is just kind of drunk and falling apart, but if you zoom out it's all strung together exactly as planned. The broken sounds teetering on collapse have a sense of control to it that one might not notice at first. But it reminds me of fucking with a piece of broken gear and pushing it to its limit but it never actually breaks and stops working. It's like they're flirting with malfunction but keeping it alive to suffer." –Angel Marcloid (of Fire-Toolz fame)
