Big News! The Biden Administration just announced the expansion of two National Monuments in California, Berryessa Snow Mountain in the North and San Gabriel Mountains in the South.
With these expansions, California has just moved closer to our climate resiliency goals - and given millions of people access to the outdoors. But the work isn't over yet! There are many public lands throughout the country that would benefit from the resources and benefits of National Monument status, which only the President or Congress can designate.
