This is the most important topic when completing coursework and could get you banned from university for life. Plagiarism occurs when you pass off any work as original when it has come from somewhere else. There are three causes of plagiarism; copying from someone else, copying from some other source (e.g. the Internet or books) and, odd as it may seem, copying from yourself.
However, there are some simple things you can do to stop being accused of plagiarism and this video examines those.
