This video will show you how to improve the boot (startup) time of a Windows 10 computer.

Basically, over time the boot time of a computer will significantly slow down, from somewhere around 30 seconds at purchase, to sometimes as long as several minutes. Most of this is due to programs installing startup items that run every time the computer boots, regardless of if the program will be used anytime soon. One or even several startup items on boot won't significantly affect boot time, but it can add up when you get a lot.

To remove these, Windows 10 added a new feature in the Windows task manager, a startup tab. This tab shows all of the programs that run on startup, and shows the impact they have.

To access the task manager, just hit either ctrl+shift+esc or right click on the task bar and choose task manager from the list. From there, click the tab at the top that says startup.

Next, you will see a long list of items, some which are obvious what they do, and others that might be unknown.

Start by disabling the items that you are most sure of that you don't need. The most obvious ones would be auto updaters (such as Java, just remember to update the program yourself) or any of the iTunes ones that show up.
